1. The Kami – Divine Incarnations
Born from the union of Izanagi and Izanami, and from the echoes of natural forces. Each Kami is tied to a concept, emotion, or phenomenon: Sun and Moon, Love and War, Wind and Flame. They shaped the world with their will and inhabit both the physical and spiritual realms. Kami are the highest-order divine beings—eternal, radiant, and purposeful.

2. The Yokai – Spirits of Wild Emotion
Not born, but formed—when emotions ran wild, dreams were abandoned, or the balance of nature swelled too far, Yokai came into being. Mischievous, monstrous, or tragic, they are not inherently evil, but chaotic reflections of human and natural extremes.

3. Humans – Fragile Dreamers
From droplets of divine tears that fell into the ocean came humans—mortal, flawed, and finite, yet capable of great creation and belief. Their prayers gave the Kami strength, their fears birthed Yokai, and their stories shaped the world’s fate.
